Subject lines of these scam emails follow formats such as “Opportunity for Experienced [Language] Translators” and “Dalkey Archive Press, a US-based publishing house (English to [Language]). The email sign-off claims to be from Nadine Santoro, with the job title “Recuiter cordinator” and the Deep Vellum bookstore address and Dalkey Archive Press website linked in the signature.
Please report and disregard any emails you might receive from this outlook.com email address. All official communications from Dalkey Archive Press and Deep Vellum staff come from the domain deepvellum.org, and we do not cold request translation services, nor enter into projects with freelancers without formal contracts in place.
