Dalkey Archive is saddened to announce that author Gabrielle Burton passed away on Thursday, September 3rd, after a thirteen-month struggle with cancer. Dalkey Archive reprinted her first novel, Heartbreak Hotel, in 1999. Her other works include I’m Running Away From Home But I’m Not Allowed To Cross The Street, Impatient With Desire, Searching For Tamsen Donner, and the screenplay for the movie Manna From Heaven.
