Three of France’s most critically acclaimed novelists Jacques Jouet, Hadrien Laroche and Christine Montalbetti engage in a discussion concerning the state of French fiction and their own experience in what it means to be a writer in contemporary France. This panel discussion will be moderated by the leading scholar of contemporary French fiction, Warren Motte, author of Mirror Gazing

The event is co-organized by Dalkey Archive Press and the French Embassy in Ireland, with the support of Irish Writers Centre, Long Room Hub Trinity College Dublin, Ireland Literature Exchange, and Centre for Literary Translation.
